Fulfiller Shipping Error Guide

General Guidance

Don't assume the customer knows their own address!

Use Google Maps to validate aspects of the address.

Re-Submitting for Shipment

Once you have corrected any ship errors, click Save to update the new information.  The shipment(s) will be sent back through the carrier and a new ship label should be printed.

Occasionally, if you have clicked Save and the order item still show error, you will need to Override Status -> Pending.

If you are unable to clear the error using any of the guidance here, contact Redbubble customer support.

Puerto Rico (and other US territories)

For Puerto Rico the State field must be PR. For all US territories the Country field should be US.

Check the State field for the correct abbreviation for other US territories here:

State and Territory Codes

International Addresses

Usually international addresses will have a problem with their the State/Province field or the Country field. Use Google Maps to verify the province. To check the country code use this resource:

Country Codes

Errors "missing or invalid address 1" or "missing or invalid address 2"

Almost always this means one of those address fields is too long for the ship carrier to process. If address 1 is too long and there's nothing in address 2, then look for a good place to cut some of address 1 and paste into address 2.

If address 2 is too long then look for:
- Ways to abbreviate words in either address field
- Things that can move from address 2 to address 1
- Delete silly things like the customer name or city that they also entered to one of the address fields

Wrong Fulfillment Location

If the address was routed to the wrong fulfillment location due to an addressing error, first correct the address and click Save, then click Reprint Product (instead of Reship) and the order will be re-routed to the correct fulfillment location.

Military Addresses

All military (API/FPO/DPO) addresses should be set to Country US. The State field must be either AA, AE, or AP.

Since FedEx does not ship to military addresses, even Express orders will be sent via the UPS service using US Post.
